The Playhouse Holiday Jamboree brings the warmth, humor, and heart of the season home to Ivoryton. Building on the joy and success of last year’s homegrown jamboree, Playhouse Holiday Jamboree: Christmas Americana invites audiences back for another spirited celebration filled with a fresh crop of holiday tunes, wintertime stories, and festive magic.

Set in a cozy cabin filled with bookshelves and maps, the show takes audiences on a musical road trip through the sounds and traditions that span the spectrum of an American Christmas. With beloved carols, country-tinged classics, toe-tapping tunes, and tender moments by the fire, the Jamboree celebrates the joy of gathering with the ones we love and the lengths we go to get there.

Part concert, part storytelling, and all holiday cheer, Christmas Americana continues the Holiday Jamboree tradition for the whole community.’

Tickets are $60 for adults; $55 for seniors; $25 for students of all ages (plus fee) and are available by calling the Playhouse box office at 860.767.7318 or click here to purchase online.

The entire village of Ivoryton will be glowing with holiday spirit for this beloved community celebration — filled with festive lights, cheerful music, and holiday surprises around every corner. The evening culminates with the arrival of Santa and the lighting of one of Connecticut’s largest living Christmas trees!

Santa Arrives at 6pm at the Playhouse!  Free Visits with Santa – Bring your camera!

This year’s Illuminations will be even more magical with new pixel light trees — towering displays of color and motion that fill the village with breathtaking patterns and synchronized effects. Tune your car radio to 101.5 FM and watch as thousands of lights dance to the music throughout the month of December!
