The capacity of the theatre is 274.
Is there parking?
Limited free, street parking is available around the Playhouse. Ample parking is available in the lot across the street from the Playhouse but please note that this parking lot is not owned by the Playhouse and the owner charges $5 per car for parking. The Playhouse does not benefit from this charge for parking.

Is there heating and air conditioning?
The theatre is very comfortable with air-conditioning in the summer and heating in the fall.
Does the Playhouse offer hearing assisted devices for those who find it difficult to hear?
Yes, we are delighted to announced that hearing assisted devices are available at the box office. Simply ask for a headset and turn on the device to enjoy enhanced speech, music and sound effects.
2022 COVID PROTOCOL – as of SMOKEY JOE’S CAFE
Before admittance into the Playhouse, vaccinated patrons are asked to provide proof of vaccination (with photo ID). If you do not have proof of vaccination, you must wear a mask.
Wearing of masks in the theatre is recommended.
If you are not feeling well or are experiencing any symptoms of covid, please do not travel to the Playhouse. We will gladly switch your tickets to another date within the same show (subject to availability).
This season, Ivoryton Playhouse is back to full capacity for the first time in two years, yet the safety of our audience remains our primary concern. These guidelines are subject to change at any time during the season. Knowing all audience members are covid-free will provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
