Fall 2021

“Try to remember the kind of September
When life was slow and oh, so mellow…”

It seems a lifetime ago when we opened THE FANTASTICKS in 2018.  It was certainly a very different world.  This September we are just grateful to be here.  COVID shut our doors and the floods of Ida destroyed our dressing rooms but we are still here – filling this old theatre with music and stories and memories.  How sweet it is to be back!

September traditionally sees the start of our annual membership campaign and so, this year, we come to you once again, filled with gratitude and humbled by your generosity, and ask you to join us with an annual gift for the 2022 season.

Now, more than ever, we know how much membership means to us.  It is truly the lifeblood of the theatre.  Without ticket sales or ad revenue, it was your membership, with support from the state and federal governments that kept us going through 2020 and into 2021.  Your membership helped us to turn the lights back on, re-hire staff and make our beautiful building safe for everyone to join us once again.

On behalf of the board of trustees, staff, volunteers and thousands of theatregoers who pass through our doors, thank you for lifting our spirits with your kindness and keeping us afloat in difficult times.

Thank you for being part of our Playhouse family.

“Try to remember, and if you remember,
Then follow….”

Yours, always singing,

Jacqui Hubbard
Artistic / Executive Director
