Securing the Future Now – Building an Endowment

An endowment will secure the future for the 100 year old Ivoryton Playhouse - join our efforts to preserve this historic building for future generations.

For 100 years, the Ivoryton Playhouse has enriched our community and has no plans to retire any time soon. But gone are the days when an organization like the Playhouse could survive from season to season solely on ticket sales and annual contributions. In today’s world, an endowment is required to ensure the continued maintenance and historic preservation of our 100 year old building.

The benefits of an endowment are many.  An endowment can ensure continuity during periods of financial uncertainty and provide the resources necessary to allow the Playhouse to confidently plan for the future.

For donors, an endowment is an opportunity to provide a permanent legacy that will benefit the Playhouse far into the future. Gifts to our endowment create an opportunity to share in our future success and positively impact our community in perpetuity. Large or small, every gift is important and every gift is appreciated.

The Ivoryton Playhouse needs financial assistance from people like you to continue our work.  By contributing an endowment gift, a bequest or other “planned gift,” you can continue to help the Ivoryton Playhouse make an important difference in our community. Please join us in helping to ensure the legacy of professional theatre in Ivoryton for generations to come.

Some of you have just discovered the Ivoryton Playhouse while others cannot remember a time when the Playhouse family was not an integral part of your own. Just the simple act of choosing the Playhouse is a testament to your belief in the importance of the preservation of history and the benefits of exceptional quality, live theatre in our community. So we are asking you to continue to believe; continue to support; continue to give.

If you would like to discuss the possibilities of a gift to our endowment or a planned gift to the Playhouse, please call the Foundation office on 860.767.9520 and ask to speak to either Jacqueline Hubbard, Executive Director or Krista May, Managing Director.
