Ask Luke – a nine year old who had the best summer of his life in 2012 playing a member of Fagin’s gang in OLIVER! He has learned so much about performance, about teamwork, about listening quietly and singing out loud. He has developed a real love for theatre and has made friendships that could last a lifetime. What a gift! The Playhouse matters to Luke and to all the children who discover the joy of theatre here.

Ask Aggie Waterman – life long resident of Ivoryton and owner of Aggie’s Village Restaurant.  The Playhouse has been a big part of her family’s life for over 50 years.  She remembers Vic Damone and his famous red socks, Kathryn Houghton and bubbling brown sugar with Cab Callaway.  Her daughter Mary was head usher at the Playhouse and invited Phyllis Diller to dinner and she came!  The Playhouse matters to Aggie and her family – it’s the center of her village and at the heart of her family.

The Ivoryton Playhouse matters to many and your membership matters to us.  Each and every person who passes through the historic doors of the Playhouse and becomes a member of the Ivoryton Playhouse Foundation matters.  It matters that we can use your membership contributions to preserve the historic building, to improve our facilities and welcome more audiences.
